If you do some research into the differences between HDMI cables and the older component cables you'll see that all the gold plating in the world may help the component cables which send analog signals, but do nothing for digital signals. The reason is a digital signal, sent as binary code, either works or doesn't work. You do not need expensive Monster or similar cables. What you need is a product that is packaged well, inexpensive, and ships quickly. I would totally recommend these.

it's a good product that attends the expectations. I've ordered two cables to be able to install the computer and the cable tv receiver on tv. Now I watch hd television and play sometimes on tv without manually change cables. Amazon made a good product.

The quality of the cable is good. The HDMI connectors are also well built. I don't think this cord will break anytime soon. I bought a 2 meter cable with the plain jacket style. Save your money and buy this cable.
